We are happy to announce about launching the coaching of youngsters in the framework of the Erasmus+ project “Cities of YOUth: increasing the role of young people in the development of tourism infrastructure” 🤩 |

On June 29, a tripartite memorandum was signed by “Gyumri Youth Initiative Centre” NGO, UNICEF Armenia and the Spitak Municipality. According to the memorandum, the second open youth centre in Armenia will be established in Spitak in August. |

On July 24th and 25th we held the second coaching session of groups of young people in the frames of the Erasmus+ “Cities of YOUth” project. |

The most awaited and the youngest day - a competition organized on the eve of the International Youth Day.
Constantly promoting youth participation and the implementation of different ideas, the "Youth Initiative Centre" in Gyumri, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund, is announcing a video contest dedicated to International Youth Day entitled "My Unique Message to Youth."

Gyumri Centre for Youth Initiatives NGO is celebrating International Youth Day in Gyumri for the sixth year in a row.
We present to you the poster campaign aimed at increasing the role and significance of young people in the society. 🤩

Since August 1, posters with the following slogans have already been placed in the central parts of the city near the entrance to Gyumri.

During July and August, "BikeLife" SE worked in a state of emergency, following all the established norms.
During the mentioned period we carried out bicycle tours in 7 directions, 2 of which were overnight tent camps in the communities of Sariar and Sarnaghbyur. About 50 cyclists took part in our tours. This, of course, is a very good result in the current situation. The most interesting moments were captured by camera, which you can find here: shorturl.at/kQU69.
We are glad to note that the number of cyclists has increased in Gyumri and there is a lot of activities in the region, which is also facilitated by our bicycle rental service, bicycle trainings and bike tours.
With great enthusiasm we continue our individual cycling lessons, which you can take part in. We will be happy to ride together.

August began with the reopening of the "Gyumri Youth House". Following all the anti-epidemic rules, the centre continued to provide services to 13-18 year old young people.
District visits and awareness of the centre’s services resumed by the youth workers.
This month English and Russian club leaders received their volunteer certificates.
Within the framework of the International Youth Day, Gyumri "Youth Initiative Centre" NGO presented posters with interesting slogans in different parts of Gyumri. One of them was the poster with "Aware and knowledgeable youth" slogan which was presented by Hrachya Kyureghyan, a youngster of "Gyumri Youth House".
Within the framework of the International Youth Day a dance flashmob was held, which was attended by "Gyumri Youth House" youngsters.
This month, the centre organized a "Three-Day High School Student Leadership School" with face-to-face and online meetings, which was attended by 15 young people aged 16-18.
At the end of the training, young participants presented their project ideas, as a result of which two different courses were held for the centre youth: "Professional Orientation" and "Exchange Programs and International Schools".
